Abortion to Adoption - From a Storm of Pain to a Nest of Hope (by Sarah Snow)

Sometimes God hides hope buried deep inside a storm of pain. For a young woman not ready to become a grownup just yet, the realities of becoming pregnant at this point in their lives is terrifying. Like most hard decisions, are mind first goes for the easy way out. They just want the problem to go away, and so having an abortion becomes a common first option.

The first option is rarely the best one to take. Studies shows that a large majority of women who do get abortions regret that choice for the rest of their lives. They aren't effected for just a few weeks or months. They are effected forever by that decision.

So if abortion isn't the best path, what is? Where's the hope?

Did you know that there are thousands of women around the world who, for whatever reason, just can't have a baby of their own? Did you know that many of these woman are desperate to be mothers, and are emotionally and financially prepared to provide a child with a strong and loving upbringing? These women are living on the hope that you will choose adoption rather than abortion.

As someone that has created another human being (and yes, they're still human and alive even though they haven't been "born" yet), you need to ask yourself this very important question:

Do I want the human being that I created to die prematurely in a cold, clean clinic, or I do I want to make a tougher (and correct) choice by allowing my child to be brought up in a loving, healthy environment by a couple who yearn to be parents?

Don't let the "quickness" of abortion fool you into thinking that it will ever be over. Too many women have far too many sleepless nights agonizing over the abortion they had done. Choosing adoption, and giving a human being a great shot at life, will cause you to sleep much better.
